Essential Duties
Under general supervision of Garage Foreman:
- Under supervision of Director and Garage Foreman performs work assigned daily that includes: State inspections/emissions, replacing worn out/broken parts and filters, changing tires, servicing A/C systems.
- Uses diagnostic equipment to determine problems.
- Road calls throughout County.
- Be available in case of inclement weather.
- Maintain current PA Inspection licenses.
- Fill pool vehicles with gas and clean/prep for trips.
- Perform other duties, tasks and special projects as directed.
Qualifications
- PA Inspection and Emission License
- High school diploma
- General vehicle repair knowledge
Physical Requirements
- Normal good health.
- Able to lift 25lbs or more.

Essential Duties
- Monitors and logs distribution of supplies to County offices.
- Coordinates with Central Purchasing to aid loss prevention.
- Responsible for receiving all deliveries and disbursing to the proper departments located in the Court House and Government Center.
- Notifies departments/vendors of discrepancies/problems with orders, communicates with Central Purchasing to resolve any problems.
- Receives emails/phone calls from departments concerning issues with deliveries, researches situation in an attempt to resolve the issue and/or contacts Central Purchasing for further investigation.
- Stores and maintains inventory for all in house supplies.
- Receives in house supply orders, fills orders, calculates cost of order, delivers order and obtains verification signature from department.
- Prepares monthly in house supply order totals for all departments, submits to manager, conducts inventory of in house stock supplies and maintains sufficient quantities.
- Oversees inventory of flags and grave markers for Veterans Affairs.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to answer phone calls and take directions.
Physical Requirements
- Normal to good health.
- Ability to push /pull 700-1000 LBS of supplies /deliveries using a Flatbed, hand held or pallet jack.
- Ability for individually to lift 50LBS of a single item to be delivered or move to different area of the loading dock or court house.
- Hours of Operation: 8: 30- 4: 30 Monday through Friday; 35-hour work week.

Description of Work
As a Clerk Typist 2, you will conduct a wide range of clerical duties to include utilization of the state database system (CPCMS), filing, and typing of any and all case material such as petitions, proposed court orders, subpoenas, notice material, dockets, court orders, memos to the court, bench warrants, motions, case records, forms, correspondence, court summaries, and more. Excellent interpersonal skills are vital as you will be performing general receptionist duties; operating the switchboard; and interacting with co-workers, agency staff, clients, and professionals. You will also be responsible for attending and scheduling court hearings, docketing, distributing court documents, and processing appeals. Strong attention to detail will be exercised as you take accurate minutes at assigned meetings, maintain and distribute supplies and forms, and ensure office equipment is operating efficiently.
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements
- Six months as a Clerk Typist 1 and educational development to the level of eighth grade; or
- Completion of a high school business curriculum which included at least one typing course; or
- Any combination of equivalent experience and training.
Work Schedule and Additional Information
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
